Summer is almost here and we’re busier than ever now that the sun is making more of an appearance. We did manage to knock off early on Friday 11 November and head to the boat ramp for a 5pm cruise around the Wellington heads to Karori rocks and back to the Wellington Harbour and Lagoon where we were greeted by a blue penguin and a seal.

Every second Saturday we’ve been riding from Seaview out of the Wellington Heads, and down to Makara or out in search of some waves. Labour weekend is going to be our first big social ride for this summer season, come join us on Saturday morning (22nd October) to ride from Seaview to Mana to refuel, and back.  Beers and a BBQ afterwards. Monday 24th will be the back up day because Sunday is the day after we win the Rugby World Cup! To register your interest, email rides@capitalcityseadoo.co.nz.

The world finals have just finished at Lake Havasu, Arizona, USA.  It was won on the new SeaDoo  T3 Hull,  riden by James Bushell of the UK.  He pulled out a lead of nearly 30 seconds over the competition almost unheard of in the highly competitive class of 1200 open.
